The Avocational Archaeology and Paleontology Council is composed of dedicated and experienced avocational scholars involved in all aspects of historical studies and investigations. The goal of the AAPC is to promote public trust and cooperation between amateur and professional researchers. All practitioners of archaeology and paleontology share a common passion for the natural world and its many fascinating mysteries. The AAPC seeks to protect and preserve the societal freedom to practice the disciplines with the fundamental purpose of sharing the collected and recorded data with the interested and involved public. No less important is our desire to nurture an artistic appreciation for all things ancient.
